PRINCESS WORLD!
I am still reading a little princess and I think it has gotten better as it goes on. A lot of times though unhappy events happen, it makes me ask questions for example: How would you feel if you father died in a foreign country and left you with no money and now you were a beggar? I think I would cry and cry because I would be on another part of the world and I could do nothing about it. I also think he left you with no money and you were a beggar, worked as a maid servant, and got barely had anything to eat. I would probably be sickly and tiered from doing all of that work and then I would have to sleep in the attic. I think that I would also be a little bit too expecting because I would have been pampered all of my life and then I start living with rats in an attic.
My next question is: What would happen if Sara got a new father that was her fathers friend,would he be close to the same as her old father? Well, judging in my opinion I would think he would defiantly different because he is a different person but, under the circumstances I would think he would be a little similar because Sara’s real dad was best friends with him and they were so so close (these are not the exact words but it said this in the book) they loved each other so they must have gotten along well. So, assuming that Sara is somewhat like her Dad then I think that her and her fathers friend will get along well. I think though it would not be the same.
That is why I think books make you think, there is so much to talk about!
A Little Princess
I am reading the book A Little Princess and I think as far as I have read it , it is pretty good. This book is about a very interesting girl who isn’t really a princess but, she is so rich and her father pampers her so much is is like she is a princess. I have noticed that throughout the book as far as I have read she doesn’t really show that she is rich except for her clothing and what her father pampers her with. I mean if you dressed her up in normal clothes and put her in the same position she would be like a normal girl and would act like she is really rich! So, I think that she is a pretty good kid considering how rich she is. Her father is away somewhere in India and her other is dead so she had to got to something like a boarding school and can speak French. I think that this book is realistic fiction and can connect to many things like to the world, there are many rich people in the world. There are also many books that are similar to this like by having a princess that really isn’t a princess or that there is a school for only girls that are most of the time , rich. I mean If you think about it there is many ways that books connect to each other. Try reading this book I would suggest it.
Matilda
I am reading a book called Matilda. You may have seen this book in movie form. That is the first thing I did ,see the movie. Then I decided that I liked the movie so much I would read the book. Here is a brief summary if you have not read it:
So, the book Matilda is about a girl who is in a family who makes her watch TV all the time. At dinner they eat in front of the TV with plastic trays and if she doesn’t want to or reads a book then she gets in big trouble from them like ripping up the book or calling her terrible names. Many children who go to school go around 5 years and Matilda was 5 and a half. (which her parents got mad at her for like it was all her fault.) So, during week days her mother goes out to play bingo. While her mother is gone she usually goes to the library. when she was four tears-three years she read all the children’s books by herself. Then she started to read our grade level books. Then she went to school and discovered her powers and that is as far as I got.
Something I found very interesting in my book Matilda was that Matilda can move things, tip things over and many other things with her eyes. Now, do you think that is realistic or even possible to be able to do something that powerful with our eyes, NO. That is what everyone thought even Matilda until she showed Miss Honey her amazing powers. I think this happened because of her brain power. I mean she can read at the age of 5 and she can do mathematics like 19* 26 and then do it in her head in the blink of an eye. I also find it interesting that she can multiply that so quickly. (in her head.) This is what I think that she would say:
I think that the answer is 494 ( she would say it quietly) the other person would say what and then she would say it again-I think that the answer is 494. And bingo she gets it right. Don’t you think that it is interesting that she could do that, that easily? (No offence to anyone but many adults can’t do that and she is 5 years old.) THAT is amazing! Have you ever met someone with that much brain power? Probably not, unless you know a scientist because they HAVE to know math to get there calculations correct.
Do you find anything interesting in you books? I think that every book should have something interesting in it, it makes the book more fun or more easy to get into.

I just watched a video about a girl at age 12 got to speak at a national speech place where it costs a ton to go. She said that the adults should listen to the children instead of the opposite. She also said that children are the future. She believes that children and adults can work together. I agree with her and I think that kids and adults should teach each other together not the adults just teach us we need to teach them too. I think that she made many people think about how kids are going to change the future by just giving help and advise to their children. She also said that you know when you make glass? and how the adults make pots or swirly glasses?( this is not what she said I am just using the idea!) She found two pictures of glass thought of by children. One was a piece of bacon and the other was a broken hearted snake! Now do you think that adults will make something like that? No, But I think that someone would buy it though like a piece if art! I mean kids use their imagination and most times adults don’t. That is what I think. When Adora gave her speech she started off with a question She asked: ” Have you ever been called childish?” Now that is a question that we all want to know. I mean I think that almost every child has been called childish. I mean do you think that, lets say action figures or barbie dolls are childish? Maybe you do maybe you don’t. But I think adults would say that they were childish and then we were young we played with them and then whoop-de-doo we become childish for playing with them. Now do you think that is fair? I don’t think so. Now do you see why she defiantly has said something that is true! What do you think about her choice that she has made to give that speech? I think that people will come to realize that she is doing the right thing by supporting kids and their causes… Including hers.
Dragon Flight
Dragon flight is about a girl who goes on an adventure to save the kingdom of Citatie from a dragon named Krashath, who is controlling the humans by making them wear helmets with his scales inside. Creel (the Girl) is always ready to fight for her country and the dragons.Creel as she is there acts as a royal dress maker with her friend Marta. Marta is Creel’s partner in the dress-making business, so they make a great pair for each other. Krashath is very picky about what goes on in the palace because he is controlling it. Krashath is white with black eyes that look like abysses. Will Creel stop them? Who Knows…
I think that this book is amazing as far as I have read it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. But of course you will have to read the first book first. The first time I read the first book it was amazing so I had to read the next one. The author is a great factor to why you should read it. she always keeps the action going and never leaves you bored. She is so detailed and NEVER leaves out anything important. (she doesn’t give away the book though!) Of course It is fantasy and there are real dragons, anyway I really HIGHLY recommend this book for anyone who likes fantasy!

The sea of monsters
The book the sea of monsters is about a boy named Percy Jackson. He has been having dreams lately about his friend grover and it is starting to creep him out. In the end he ends up getting the fleece and grover. Someone else too, Thia the daughter of Zeus…
Any way I don’t want to give the book away to those of you who haven’t read it. I think this book is amazing I mean it is all about how Percy helps his friends, which I think was nice of him even though he isn’t real. I also think the writer gives great character descriptions and not only character description but others too, I mean I can picture it in my mind. It is like I am really there, It is so cool because I like to get in on the action.
If you haven’t read it o any of the Percy Jackson books in general I highly advise you to do so and If you have read it tell me if you like it or not I want to know!!! If you don’t like the book defend yourself what do you not like about it and why? I like it but it is your opinion.
Dragon slippers
I am reading the book Dragon Slippers, let me give you a brief summary about it:
Creel is the first girl in a few centuries to see a dragon, let alone talk to it. She goes on a great adventure through battles, working for a seamstress, to wearing magical slippers!But the fight is terrible, it kills many dragons and humans without care to what is really happening…
I have been tracking themes in my book. They are like emotions that the character is feeling. Like Bravery, in my book the main character’s name is Creel, and she showed bravery when she met a dragon and was talking to it in it’s own cave! When she did this she bargained for part of the dragon’s hoard. She also found out that most dragons’ hoards are not treasure, they are personal belongings like shoes, glass windows, and even dogs! She also showed bravery when she snuck away from her own house to go find a job all by herself and she even had to walk all the way there!
Also when I was reading I found Creel had not only bravery but fear as well. I mean everyone is afraid of something right, well she made friends with the dragons and soon she was riding on one of their backs. To be specific on what dragon it was well, his name is Shardas. While she was riding she hung on very tight and then when Shardas suddenly swooped up into the air she slipped and almost fell off because she was very sweaty because she was frightened, but she did not because the dragons neck was extremely wide.(luckily)
You also will find that if you ever read this book that Creel is jealous of many things mostly of other people though. The person she is most jealous of when she meets the person is Amalia a rich, brat princess from Roulian who wears gorgeous gowns and slippers and still complains for more. When Creel first saw her it was when she was looking for a job and got lost. Creel accidentally tripped over her dog and almost got put in to jail for doing so.( Amalia also takes slippers from people!)
Creel also gets very sad at times when there are real things to cry about. Like when Shardas dove into the boiling sea after his mate Velika.( the boiling sea is a toxic,boiling mass of water and will kill any thing that touches it.) Creel cried for countless hours and was enormously sad about it.
You see, characters have emotions that sometimes go unnoticed but when you do pick them out they are themes, but you have to look carefully otherwise you could just skip it.
Lighting theif
If you have ever read this book you know it is good, but that is my opinion. If you haven’t read it I highly recomend that you do. I would because it is so detailed and in every chapter it leaves you hanging so you want to read more. It is also very mysterious and you don’t know what is going to happen next which I personally like because if the book doesn’t it gives the entire book away and that doesn’t make it good. Scene there is a new movie you think why not just watch that well, I think it would be better to read the book first because you actually might like it better than the movie. Try it see if you like it or not give me your opinion.
Unicorns of Balior
The unicorns of balior is about a girl who has a unicorn but gets in a crash and the unicorns horn falls of and so does his magic and she gets 2 broken legs and lost her memory, but I won’t give away what happens next. I think that if you are into mythical creatures this is the book for you. I think the unicorns of balior is great and I would recommend it to anyone.
